13 Years....Wow!

Sometimes when I look at him I can't believe how the years have flown by! It seems like only yesterday they placed him in his car seat on our coffee table. I paused and reflected on Friday thinking how much my life has been changed by this handsome young man. When I really stop to think about how he came to be ours, it almost takes my breath away to know how close he came to not being place with us. If I had gone to mom's that day instead of going home or if the other couple they had picked for him had been home, how different our lives would have been. I smile knowing that God orchestrated it all, down to the very time of the call. So thankful, so blessed..........Happy Gotcha Day, Ricky!
