Lately our hearts have been turning once more toward adoption! We really want one more child and we kind of felt like the time was right! I was hoping for another little girl from Asia, but the news I got today makes us think that we may not have a daughter in Asia right now or ever! I talked to CHI today and due to the recent diagnoses of colitus, we may not qualify for China and Vietnam is just not happening right now! We are willing to wait, but for who knows how long! I am going to talk to someone else next week at CHI that can answer my questions concerning China more direct and then we will know for certain right now! You can bet that I will be watching and waiting! You just never know what can happen in the next few years!
My eyes are on Asia!!!!!

Update on Nicholas

We went to the doctor in New Orleans in June and according to him we are taking a wait and see approach right now! They do want to do one more test on Nicholas in New Orleans before making the final decision, but the doctor feels that the tests will remain the same! Nicholas will live a long, healthy, and happy life according to the doctor! Isn't that all that really matters?
The Many Faces of Ginger Pye
Kaitlyn loves taking pictures of our dog Ginger Pye! I think Ginger gets rather tired of it all!!!!
Summer Time, Summer Time, Sum-Sum-Summer Time
It's summer time and the living is easy........well, not as much as I would like it to be! We have been so busy since the move that I have hardly had time to breathe. We are officially moved in but I need to have a major garage sale!!!!!!!!
Here are a few pictures of the kids and what has been going on!!!!
Kensli LOVES the water and now swims everywhere with only her little swimsuit that has a floatation device built in!
Surfs up, dude!!!!!

What floaties do to a person!

Cute even when MAD!!!!!!
6 Cousins--Ages 3 to 10

Granny on Memorial Day! I can't believe it has been a year since Granny fell and almost died! At 83, she is back doing her yard work without assistance!!! God is so GOOD!!!!

Mom has been a little under the weather this summer, but she is still pretty even when sick!!!!
I was so paranoid when we first started swimming that I wouldn't let Kensli float around the pool. Here is a picture of the first day she was in the water! Notice the strap attached to her to keep her from swimming to far away from me!

Who is that handsome young man? Oh, it's Ricky!!!! They grow up so fast!!!!

Our church has two Beginner Level Bible Quiz teams this year. Kaitlyn is on team POA 2 along with 2 other girls her age! They took 3rd place at state quiz tournament in Monroe, LA. By placing 3rd they are now going to compete in Nationals in Branson, MO! POA 1 team, made up of my friend Neysha's 3 oldest, took 1st at state!!! Neysha and Bill won Coaches of the Year for Beginners Level and Greg and Sharon won Coaches of the Year for Jr. Level!! WHOO HOO!!!!!!!!! We are so proud of our teams and coaches!

What's Been Happening..........
Wow, didn't realize how long it has been since I blogged! We have been extremely busy selling our house and buying a new one! It is official.....we move next Saturday, May 10th. I am busy packing boxes, picking out paint colors and flooring, running back and forth making sure all is done at both houses, etc. As soon as I get settled I will blog everything that has happened lately!
Last night, Toby had to take Nicholas to the ER. He was running fever and crying with stomach pain! They ran tests and found some blockage in the intestines and an abnormality in the kidney's. We have to go to the Dr. tomorrow for more tests! IN JESUS NAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, my mother has been very sick and is having a hard time walking right now! She has been undergoing tests, too! We are believing that she is going to get better SOON!!!!
Goodness, when it rains it pours!!!!!!!
Kaitlyn had here first violin recital today! She did really good! Pictures to be posted later!

National Geographic: Backyard Edition
Who has ever witnessed the aggression of male lizards before? Not me!!!! I do not have a particular fear of lizards, but I it has never been on my top 10 list to sit around watching them either. This morning I sent Nic and Kensli out to play in the backyard and in a few minutes they came back in saying there was a big lizard out there. I went to look thinking it might be a snake, but sure enough it was a lizard. Two of them, to be exact, and they were trying to figure out which one of themselves was the dominant male! They were so busy trying to prove their manliness that they didn't even realize we were watching. We watched for awhile and then Kensli got tired and started jumping. This movement and sound brought the lizards back to reality, but they were so tired that they didn't run off. They just tried to hide in plain sight. We left them to their hiding, but Ricky checked back later and they had gone! Here are a few pictures of what we saw....................
The darker green one seemed to be the dominate male. The other lizard was smaller and thinner. Wish I could report the winner, but I can't! Guess if I see the big, dark green lizard sunning peacefully on the deck I can declare him the winner!!!!
