Pictures of Kensli's Hospital Stay

Here are some pictures of Kensli's stay in the hospital. Kensli didn't have to have open heart surgery. They were able to handle the birth defect under the arm, but the nurse said that it is actually more painful than through the breast bone. They have to spread the ribs and cut muscle so that is why she is SO sore.

On Monday night after she was transferred to her room of 1501.

Daddy brought her some balloons the next morning. Kensli loves balloons and we thought that they would help her to get up and try to walk.

Going for a ride. Poor baby, she was so tired, sore, and sleepy!

Talking to family back home.

Finally up and moving slowly!

Getting ready to go home. One last dose in her IV.

One last nap!

Kensli had a good trip home and she is resting today! She had a fair night last night, but Tylenol with codine does wonders.

Tomorrow we see the doctor here and will return to Houston on Sunday for a Monday appt. to get the stitches out.
